A financial services firm operating on AWS needed to strengthen its security posture ahead of an upcoming compliance review. Prior configuration had grown organically without a consistent security baseline, creating gaps in access control and monitoring.
Project execution
CloudLezn performed a security architecture review covering IAM, network segmentation, and data protection. The engagement included enforcing MFA for privileged users, tightening S3 bucket policies to eliminate unintended public access, enabling default encryption across storage services, and deploying centralized logging with CloudTrail, Config, and GuardDuty.
Backup and recovery procedures were formalized and tested, and a security monitoring dashboard was built in CloudWatch to give the team ongoing visibility.
Project results
The firm passed its compliance review with a documented, monitored security baseline in place, closing the access and visibility gaps identified at the start of the engagement.
